Clinical Studies of 144 Cases of Electric Burn Patients

Abstract
Incidence of intestinal helminthic infection among 3, 697 employees of Korea Electric Company, residing around Seoul area were examined as a part of annual physical examination in 1967.
Formalin either concentration technique (MGL method) were employed for the microscopic examination of parasitic ova, and the results are summarized as follows:
1) Positive rate of helminthes of any kind was 83% of total specimens, and trichocephalus trichiurus showed the highest incidence, 64.3%, and the next being, ascaris lumbricoides, 39.6%, trichostrongylus orientalis, 20.4%, hookworm, 12. 8%, clonorchis sinensis, 8. 6%, respectively.
2) In -general, no distinct differences were ¢¥noticed in intestinal helminthic infection between 82. 7% of employees and 83.77% of managing staffs.
